Christmas Lunch at The Golden Pheasant in Plumley
A great turnout of 35 members gathered at the Golden Pheasant for a convivial lunch with party games including standup bingo.
We warmed up with a tense round of stand up bingo, followed by the traditional rendition of the 12 days of XK as led by Austin Holmes, who this year had rewritten the lyrics to be more club friendly. Verses alternated between ladies and gents and appetites were further worked up on the stand up theme as guests were required to only stand up when singing.

This was a combined visit at the invitation of the Jaguar Drivers Club, thanks to Christine Maynell, for making this possible.
Ric Wood Motorsport is based near Stockport and is a unique and fascinating organisation. Ric himself gave us a lot of his time and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Sunday lunch Golden Pheasant Plumley NW Air Ambulance speaker. A healthy turnout of 25 members joined for a great lunch and excellent talk given by North West Air Ambulance Team. We were able to present a £250 cheque to the charity raised through club funds.

What a special treat this was...A visit to the amazing AVRO Museum in Woodford near Stockport the a photoshoot with our cars under the wing of the iconic Vulcan Bomber. We had 19 cars and 33 people taking part in this memorable day. We then retired for a late lunch to get over the excitement!!!!
Cat and Fiddle Distillery - What a Drive !!!

A strong contingent of 11 cars and 22 people drove up on to the famous "Cat and Fiddle" with it's stunning views and sweeping curves that our GT cars were designed for. The famous pub is now a distillery and we were treated to a fascinating tour and tasting!! Each member went home with a at least a sample...
