We sold this vehicle to a lovely gent and serial Jaguar owner just over a year ago. He loved the car but only used it on very few occasions. In fact he only did about 800m in that time. He decided to buy an XJS instead and when we last spoke was pursuing the purchase of David Suchet's (Poirot) beautiful 4.0L.Coupe. Its' previous keeper was also a Jaguar enthusiast. He approached us directly as he was keen for us to find a good home for his cherished car. Whist in his ownership it was garaged, used only for special occasions and saw the rain a handful of times due to unexpected downpours

Originally believed to have been a demonstrator vehicle for Marshalls Jaguar to show off the many 2018 model year upgrades (Including the later infotainment system with a 10" screen and a digital dash) and it has had only 3 fastidious owners since.

It is worth nothing that the service @ 23,127m in September 2025 included changing the cambelt, (Due every 7 years or 80,000m). The Idler pulleys, water pump and ancillary belt were also changed.

SPM our local and highly regarded Jaguar workshop have done a fully documented pre-delivery inspection on this vehicle for us. (This is available for you to review in our "Documents" section).
It is also worth noting that as part of our Pre-delivery inspection we noted a little wear on some of the rear suspension components. Not being known for half measures we opted to replace upper & lower rear suspension arms, Rear stabiliser arms, and rear brake pads. We then had a full 4 wheel alignment and treated the underside to a Lanoguard treatment.

The vehicle comes with all its' original handbooks, Build specification certificate and 2 Keys.
In addition there is a file of invoices etc. which would keep the most avid of enthusiasts busy for some time.

unfortunatley i am selling my XK400 due to redundancy if you know of anybody in the group that might be interested in purchasing my XK400 reg AA04XKR that will come with the car.
it has a folder full of history services and parts replaced in the past by previous owners, i have recently changed the oil and oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and replaced the coolant.
My car is in excelent condition for its age, regualry cleaned and waxed fully valeted recently by myself, it has only 63494 miles so very low mileage for its age, too much history to send in an email, underneath has been treated by previous owner, also previous owner had the walnut dash fitted but i still have the piano black dash and sat nav boxed up to sell with the car, very rare XK400 brochure also included.
